Operations Manager

Caring Transitions is the nation’s largest franchised system designed to provide assistance to people as they move through life’s different transitions. Our franchisees provide services to relieve the stress our clients and referral partners are feeling. We offer several different options to help liquidate personal property, relocation services such as packing, managing a mover, and then unpacking and resettling, cleanouts, space planning, and organizing services.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: The Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee local and regional Caring Transitions franchise offices and serve as the liaison to our franchisees. The Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting franchisees with financials, electronic office management software, marketing, employee relations, and conducting field visits on an as-needed basis. Our Operations Managers should plan on about 25% travel and will be based in the Cincinnati corporate office. The position will also be responsible for managing projects as needed and assisting in corporate visits, monthly training, and regional and national meetings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS POSITION: Essential Job Functions

  • Establish strong working relationships with franchisees
  • Work closely with franchisees on follow-up and business development
  • Provide effective, on-going coaching, support and assistance to franchisees
  • Perform financial, sales and marketing analysis of franchisee operations on monthly basis
  • CT Accelerator support – assist franchisees learn the sales and estimating program
  • Compiling franchisee data such as monthly revenue
  • Ensure timely payment of royalties, national branding fees and other financial obligations
  • Create and document operational policies and procedures as required
  • Manage operations-oriented projects from inception to delivery
  • Support and train in-house new franchisee training class as required
  • Update documentation and verify franchisee insurance and other required documents are current
  • Assist with social media management – Facebook, Linked In, Google Adwords and others
  • Present to visiting franchisee candidates at our “Meet the Team Day” events
  • Support/attend/present at regional and national meetings
  • Conduct field audits of franchise offices as needed
  • Identify and share best practices to improve business results
  • Support communication of company objectives to franchisees and gain feed back
  • Identify opportunities for franchise process improvement
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE: Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Franchise Operations Management experience preferred, but not required
  • Positive mindset with a strong sense of purpose, motivation and accomplishment
  • Exceptional written, verbal and consultative communication skills with the ability to influence, coach and motivate
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Understanding of entrepreneurship and franchising
  • Presentation and public-speaking skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
